Thanks everyone!  I am having a lovely day thanks, went to the GC, Morrisons ( yes, Morrisons!) then back to the GC. I had some lovely pressies and yes it's tipping it down, which I am really happy about - NO WATERING! I did the kids' lunch although OH did offer, and I'm doing a buffet dinner, easy peasy - it's so straightforward but maybe wouldn't be so if I accepted the help of my well meaning bunch.  They know when to leave well alone. OH has taken them swimming so it's peace perfect peace - it's been, and being, a really lovely day. Thanks Myrtle, and thanks again everyone. I did get the CD for my birthday Emsey - the only person it seems to get smiling in my house though is me, the rest aren't so keen, what's wrong with them! I also got some DVD's I've been after for ages, The Shining, Love, Honour and Obey, Local Hero and Loch Ness, and a also had visit to the GC, coming home with a load of brilliant bargain PLANTS. |
