Hello all, and thanks for your kind messages. Sorry for the delay in replying - I've been away for a quick week's break in the Cotswolds.
I had a lovely birthday - even if my son did forget even to text me on the day (he remembered the day after, so I didn't quite strangle him when we got home!)
We were staying just outside Tetbury in a lovely little holiday cottage. It's very close to Westonbirt Arboretum - and NOW is the perfect time to visit. The colours are just amazing! We spent a wonderful day there, and could have spent longer. It was an absolute knockout!

Did you go into the cheese shop in Tetbury - wonderful place and they give you loads of samples! Also, one of the butchers makes a fantastic black pudding! Sorry, should have told you all this before you went!  |
