4pygmies,I'm not a real farmer my wife is...lol.You do believe that don't you ? All jokes aside...I started helping my father in the garden when I was a young child...been around veggies oh I would say around 40 years.I can still remember the first garden I grew by myself as a child...prettiest bunch of weeds you ever seen...lol.Oh I almost forgot...the potato fork...that is a very helpful tool in our garden.

Wow, a fantastic crop bc. Must admit it - I've never tried growing potatoes Perhaps in a bag for next year? Can I be cheeky and ask if yourself or your wife have a homemade recipe for hash browns please? We love them with our full english breakfast and McCains (a frozen variety here) aren't quite the same!

She grates them...puts them in a bowl...adds a little flower, salt and pepper. She then makes patties out of them and browns them in olive oil.
