When we were at Flamborough there was great excitement about a rare bird sighting. The brown shrike had just popped over from Siberia..the place was crawling with twitchers...along with several hundred thousand pounds worth of equipment (!). One of the people we saw posted a pic on his blog...here's the little thing that caused all the fuss (we saw it, but only from a distance and without binoculars) racebirding.blogspot.com/2008/09/brown-shrike.html

Then he would have turned into a twitcher then and not just be a spotter!! ;D
