I are soo impressed...I'm nearly speechless.

Only nearly though.......um, you could give it a go! Aubergine are treated as annuals here but if you can provide enough light and heat to keep it well and healthy, it might fruit next year.......worth a try isn't it? I think you would need a decent constant temperature and quite a few hours of sunlight daily and don't put it anywhere where the night temperature will drop too much, so maybe not the conservatory....be interesting to find out. Cheery boldly goes...(I hear....)
