They look great Maggy. Lilies do brighten things up, don't they? We bought a nice reddy orange one, forgotten it's name atm, but after the main flowers went over, up popped up another one off white in colour. Not sure if it's a sport or that there is a different bulb in with the red/orange one. The plant is in the ground, so I will check later on.

They are wonderful Maggyd! Are you going to leave them in the ground over winter? I've always grown mine in pots but they seem to be over so quickly that way....I don't know how hardy they are...do you?

MaggyD, those Lilies are fabulous!
Our garden is a bit of a wreck at the moment, so it's really nice to see such lovely flowers!

Ive got lilies in the ground that the previous owner put in, and these I planted straight into the border, after last years poor performance with bedding plants I thought Id put lilies in as the ones in the pots were the best display.

They look great! Huge lovely blooms, and intact too. And mine do too until the slugs get them - they flower and then they're eaten....not fair....

: Oh well I must be lucky Mrs B as the slugs have decimated my Hosta's and the lilies are untouched.
