Does anyone know of any good (ie cheap) sites where I can buy some good quality winter bedding plants such as pansies please? My local newsagent has asked me to supply plants to sell and it's too late to sow and grow them to a decent size really - they want to start stocking them next month. Ta

What about B&Q? They start off at not so cheap a price but they get reduced to a ridiculous price later on - but you do have to be in the right place at the right time to buy them before they start going downhill. I've had LOADS of bargain pansies from there.
Sorry 4P I can't think of any cheap sites apart from the gardening shops on eBay, they're worth a look.

In that case I hope it all goes well for you, what a shame its too late to grow your own. the co-op do reasonable tray of plants sometimes too, but they can be hit and miss.

Hi 4ps. Have you seen Jersey plants direct. They have a lovely pansy called can can. It's a frilly one & they are £9.99 for 160. It works out cheaper than buying the seeds. Also if you spend £25 you can buy a mystery pack for £2. Janet.
