Thanks The witch! I have actually made this but, tbh, the stench was soo vile I haven't made it again...I know I shouldmake it again but I prefer to stick to goat poo (as it were).. ;D

Does it smell anything like the rhubarb leaf concoxtion? That wreaks but it works for cabbage whites!

Goat poo is a nice fresh country smell The witch...I can't think what you mean........ I like the smell of animal s**t! A nice clean old fashioned aroma.... And, yes Debi, it reallyreally stinks. I've never made the rhubarb leaf stuff but the nettle is nearly as bad as the Comfrey tea - and that is unbelievably stinky.....

There is an alternative method - get a large bucket with a close fitting lid and a few jugfuls of nettle tips, some strong tea, sugar and wine yeast. You know where I'm going with this, don't you? And it's lovely! Pure, clear, homemade and alcoholic.
