Has anybody heard of etsy? www.etsy.com/buy.php I only discovered them yesterday. They sell homemade items and except paypal. What a great way for people to sell their wares. Cheery I could imagine your peg doll angels on there! The prices are all in dollars, but there are UK sellers on there. I typed in Chicken and Hen, you should have seen all the lovely things that came up! ;D The little girls handmade dresses are soooooo lovely, and not too badly priced considering.

Never heard of it, Emsey, but what a good idea.... We ran a shop selling local craftspeople's stuff in my Mum's barn for a while. It was very popular but we had to shut it when the council demanded a huge rise in the rates, more than we took in a year! I still think there is a huge market for that sort of thing, there are a lot of very gifted people out there... Good idea for selling Cheery's angels too....I hope she reads this!

Fidelma is donating money from the sale of her items to charity. She has picked to spilt the money 50/50 between charitys called Hookers for Jesus and Shelly Lubbens pink cross foundation. They are both run by ex porn stars and aim to free people traped in the sex industry.

www.scrummythings.co.uk/index/Welcome__lavenderThis website is run by an ex-colleague of mine..I lost touch with her quite a while back when she left lab work and went back to her first love, art. She now runs a one woman sweat shop in Nottingham, she's very talented. If you click on the link to her e-bay shop on the left of the page) you can see more of her stuff.

Cheery your friends shop looks amazing! I have some handmade bunting in Holly's room, but its not as pretty as that. I've been writing to my friend since I was 14 and she was about 12, although she's only a tiny bit younger than me, in my head she's still in her teens ;D and I always feel proud she's so conscientious and has so much to say and does so much! ;D She's such a good friend, I'll have to meet her one of these days
