Anyone remember me saying I had found some seed in a pot of Zantedescia Fiorex gold? I have two shoots emerging!

COO! Well done! That's quite exciting isn't it? I wonder if they will come true or if you'll get a totally different one....

I have to keep them alive now, they came up in the hot weather, and its turned quite cool, I think Ill bring them indoors and keep a close eye on them. I dont mind how they turn out, they are my babies, and I love them. ;D

Yes, be careful...I put my new Orange tree outside in its pot and had to rush out and fleece it last night as the wind was so cold...I hope it's alright.... My pot of Zandescia is no more......it was obviously too cold in my GH - they all turned to mush.... Serves me right - I really should give up on tender stuff......

I kept mine in the GH too, but they were bone dry, hope they are ok, still not much sign of anything coming up. Still the seeds were in there too, on the surface, so if they are ok, why not the parents?

Hopefully that's right....but mine were bone dry too. It's a bit odd that the seeds have germinated but there's no sign of the parents yet isn't it? Mind you my pot of Dahlias is just sitting there too. I had a little broggle the other evening and the tubers are OK but still definitely dormant....

The seeds were in a small propagator, it stayed very humid inside and totally steamed over when the weather warmed up, perhaps that was what prompted germination.

How brilliant Sweetie! well done....green fingers, that's what you've got!
My pot has just been oiked out of the CF and we have lots of little shoots poking out of the soil ;D. It's still very mild here so I've left the pot where it is at the back of the flower border...
