We have those....they always look so exotic to me. My big sister used to get loads in her garden (at her last house). My other sister tops that...she gets peacocks in her OH's farmyard ;D ...a local landowner keeps them and they fly around the village looking spectacular....

Fantastic photographs Roan.
A couple of years ago, one was 'strutting his stuff' across a main road just outside Warwick - Saturday night about 6, all the traffic stopped for him, nothing was going to put him off, obviously off for a night on the tiles!

That reminds me when I was driving down Tachbrook Road in Leamington Spa and had to stop for a duck being followed by half a dozen ducklings crossing the road. Such a magical sight. ;D

A different kind maybe, or a young one? We used to have them in our garden two gardens ago, out in the country. One in particular used to come and share the chickens' corn and anything else he could get his hands/claws on. :
