We did a lot of digging and planting at M&Ds today and although LP was my main helper, this little chap was with us all the time, singing merrily. Later a partner turned up too

I love Robins! There seem to be lots about at the moment too. We have a pair at work who are getting very daring and often sit very close to us waiting for greeblies to be thrown at them. There are several in my garden too. I thought they were very territorial but they all seem to get on alright. It's a real pleasure when they come and see what you doing, isn't it?

It really is, partly because their song is so pretty, and they are soooooooo eager! Mum and dad have a few pairs nesting around the garden but this little chap is the most inquisitive and the friendliest - he was only a few foot away from LP and I yesterday but dad says this one will poke around in the ground inches from where he's digging!!!
