I got these a few months ago. the buzzard is a cropping from a shot taken through a 500mm lense the heron is a regular in one spot up the antrim coast and not easily disturbed by people. For the same reasons as in the seals thread dont ask where. You'll probably need to turn your brightness way up to see them clearly heron by flash 2 non flash fly pasts buzzard

Oh they are fantastic Sean! We regularly get buzzards and herons here but never close enough to photograph.

I can see your point of view The witch, but I do like seeing them beside a lake - they look so thoughtful and elegant.
