Where is it sited The witch and do you have sparrows in your garden? Hope the second part wasn't a silly question? Maybe you will be lucky this year, just at the time you move!!

I used to have loads of sparrows in my garden until my last neighbour chopped down an adjacent hedge I took down all my nesting boxes just after Christmas Keith.

Cute! I'd love to have a bird box of some sort but don't really want to encourage babies into the garden because of our cat. We have quite a few sparrows around here but it's mostly blue-tits. I wonder why they didn't use your box, and why did you remove the boxes The witch? Was it becauseof your move?
We have sparrows nesting in the gable of our house, right above our bedroom window. They make such a racket, especially the babies. We can hear them demanding food from the poor parents ;D

Yes because of moving Plocket, some of my nesting boxes cost a fair bit We have Sparrows nesting at the edge of our roof too, just under the lower tiles.
