Just a pic we took at st lawerence bay butterfly park in june. Not as stunnig as your cddd and I can't think what its called either.

Oooooooo! That's a beauty! You took that at a butterfly park? Is that a tropical species or native?
I have some books on N. American butterflies and moths but nothing else.

Amazing photo yet again C3D - your or should I say your husbands photo's should be published I don't have any photo's of butterflies at the moment, but once I do I will be sure to post them here. The only photo I have is of a Hummingbird Hawk Moth - which must think it's a butterfly as it flies during the day.

Stunning C3D - I'm not sure that a cabbage white butterfly could be described in the same way though, as the are considered pests over here C3D.
