news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/north_yorkshire/3953599.stmI saw one of these on a program hosted by Bill Oddie.... it was visiting a bird table, and feasting on strawberry jam sandwiches, it was very shy and constantly kept looking around before each maneuvre as it approached the bird table which had been set up for the feast. Has anyone ever seen one in real life?

I saw one once many years ago, while caravanning in Wales. The site was quite remote and there was not many touring caravans there at the time. I thought (as it was a distance away) it was a stoat at first, but it came out for a second time and this time I had my binoculars ready. I don't expect they are there now, I think they are only limited to the Highlands of Scotland. Maybe someone can correct me there. I had another sighting, but not 100% as it was getting dark, while staying at a proper holiday caravan site in Scotland about 4 years ago. As I couldn't be sure at the time, I will only say I have seen one, but it was well worth it all the same.
