Please note that hot-linking (placing an image on the messageboard by using the image's url from another website without the owners permission) is strictly forbidden.
Also, any images posted on these boards must be either copywrite free or you are the copywrite owner.
Linking to someone elses images uses the other person's bandwidth and is bandwidth theft. Using somebody else's artwork is breach of copywrite.
Any images that are placed by hot-linking will be removed immediately and the person who placed the images will be jepardising their membership on the boards.
There has not been any problem with hot-linking that I am aware of, but it has come to my attention that Proboards may close down a site that offends in this way, and they may not give any warnings or notice - so it is best that everyone understands the rules and implications clearly up front.
