I have come to the conclusion that the greenhouse is the ideal place to go when your life is too hectic, I reckon that GH`s should be prescribed for stress! There is something so therapeutic about sowing seeds, teasing out seedlings from a tray or potting on a cutting, picking your own home grown tomatoes, peppers and chilli`s or watering and feeding your babies. The Cacti Greenhouse has many attractions too, some of the cacti are easily propagated, others need to be nurtured, mixing your own compost is very satisfying as well. Im just getting into Cacti, and Ive a lot to learn but its still a pleasure. All in all even on a cool day when you wouldnt want to spend too long in the garden, the greenhouse is a balmy refuge for the barmy gardener. ;D If I went into medicine I would definitely want to study measurable levels of stress between people who live the same type of lifestyle, with or without a greenhouse to run to.

Spot on old girl. One of my big pleasures is winter Sunday morning in the greenhouse with the heat turned up and the radio on.

It would be really nice if I could find time to escape to my GH, when its light enough and warm enough. Im going to invest in some heat and light sources.... Solar ones would be nice, anybody have experience of those?

Any good to you? www.twowests.co.uk/TwoWestsSite/product/SPGSL.htmI know I don't have a greenhouse, so can't comment on any sort of heating/lighting. Keith
