WOW! A Brassica cage! You are soooo posh Steve! What a brilliant idea though...I have tried to put up a motley arrangement to protect my cabbages over the past few years but they have always collapsed and let the greeblies in....I wonder if I could rig up something like that - I have a few extra lengths of polytunnel poling I was given, hmmmm, another project for me... : Can I just ask how you get round the crop rotation thing please? It has always grieved me that I can't even get cabbages good enough for the goats to eat.....even they turn their noses up and prefer Tescos best..  I wonder if I could make a strong enough one with tile battening and secure it with camping tent pegs or something...thanks Steve! ;D |

Thanks Plotty, everything is looking so promising! I hope the red currant trees do well. I'm looking forward to the live chat. I going to sow some onions today, I was weary of transpanting them, but now I've seen yours i'll give it a go.
