Ive had my Raspberry canes delivered today only problem is ive not got the plot ready for them. They are bare rooted and was wondering if i can put them in pots or should i plant them in my raised beds until their new place is ready. I was going to plant them were the Rhubarb is but that has been put on hold. Any advice greatfull

Heel them in somewhere until you have the bed ready Karen. If they are there for a while they won't hurt. Just try and plant them in their permanent position before they start growing in Spring. Raspberries are gorgeous......my favourite berry...there is no taste like them straight off the bush. Yum!

They are soooo full of lusciousness too - I'd love to be able to grow my own, perhaps I should think about having an allotment. You could plant some in your garden The witch but an allotment is better go for it you know you want to, think of all the other things you could grow. Karen x
