Thanks Steve it sounds like you had a lot of fun at your plots for bonfire night! I suggested something similar but I was told it was an invitation for pyromaniacs or some such blather and I didnt pursue it, wish I had now.  I havent sown my broad beans yet either, must do it this weekend, thanks for the reminder.  |

Thanks Steve...I have been doing much the same jobs as you but it's a funny thing - my plot doesn't look anything like as nice as yours... ;D I am sowing my Broad Beans in pots this year until I have dug over somewhere to put them...and I MUST put my garlic in now - I delayed too for partly the same reason as you, but mainly because I shoved the bags in a drawer and only found them in a sort out recently!  |
