Talking of autumn fruits, blackberries are very plentiful and early this year. Not too sweet though yet.

We noticed yesterday that the hedgerows are glowing red with Hawthorn berries already....

I noticed that too when i was walking the dog yesterday. Does that mean a hard winter's coming?

Only for the creatures who depend on them for winter stores I suppose. There won't be any left will there?
