Steve, do be careful, you are worrying me now, Diabetes isnt something you can disregard when you feel like it, take care of yourself, and you will be able to take care of your gardens for many years to come. I use your plot as an example to myself of the excellence I have yet to attain, but I wont kill myself to achieve it. Please, take care.

I second that! Your thread is an example to us all - I love reading it but do take care of yourself. It is obviously extremely hard work to maintain it to your fantastically high standard. Do you have any volunteer help? If I was near I'd be there like a shot!

What variety of apple are you growing Steve? The reason I ask is that about 4 years ago I fancied a Bramley in my garden, but couldn't find one locally I was told that they aren't grown commercially as they are the wrong size for the machinery they use to maintain and pick them

I must say your gravevine seems far more advanced than mine! On mine the leaves are just emerging. When was that taken Steve? And what variety is it?

Thankyou all for your kind comments, I really do appreciate them especially when I have been so under the weather and pressure, looking forward to being back to normal very soon regards Steve and I will answer your questions at the weekend if that is ok when I am a bit more straight. www.myallotments.com
