Does anyone have a briggs and stratton lawn mower or a lawn mower powered by a briggs and stratton sprint 375 engine? If so would you be prepared to remove the air filter, 1 screw, and photograph the throttle linkage thus exposed? The old qualicast electric mower died, a bearing on the motor has worn out and its a 'special', a new motor is £117 A friend gave me his FIL's non working B&S lawn mower and I think the problem is in the above linkage as at least one spring is missing and I need to check where the various springs connect, hence the above request. Morning Sean! Sorry to hear about your lawnmower. I can't help you with the spares you need I'm afraid - I hope someone else can. Have you looked on ebay?

Thanks but the bearing that has gone in the Qualicast is a self aligning bush with what I am guessing is an oiled felt pad as the only 'lubrication', I dont think it could be oiled during maintenance as the cover over the felt pad is not removable so I'd suspect that all 2nd hand motors would be showing wear. I have the briggs and stratton parts lists such as those on the briggsbits and though they show the bits, and that one spring is missing, I haven't found a drawing or photo of the linkages in their assembled state. I have an email off to B&S in the states so I'll see if they have want to help.
