His books are BRILLIANT! I have quite a few of them and they are all well thumbed - they are stuffed with information. I think he deserves to have made a fortune.

We've got; The Home Expert The Rose Expert The Vegetable Expert The Flower Expert The Tree and Shrub Expert and very nearly got The Pond Expert - it was in my hand in B&Q but never made it to the till. They are brilliant, aren't they?

We've got; The Home Expert The Rose Expert The Vegetable Expert The Flower Expert The Tree and Shrub Expert and very nearly got The Pond Expert - it was in my hand in B&Q but never made it to the till. They are brilliant, aren't they? MrsBeige, you've set me thinking, I'm sure we have a copy of the Pond Expert but haven't seen it for ages, will have a good look when we do our spring clean/sort out!

Yes your right there 4Ps I have! mind you I can read book and unless its an Author that Ive had out a few times like Sidney Sheldon, Cathrine Cookson etc. I can never remember the names.

Ive got The Tree and Shrub Expert The Vegetable Expert The Flower Expert The Fruit Expert The Houseplant Expert The Lawn Expert
These are all brillianr books and like others well used, still need a few more to add to the collection.
Maggy I also like Sidney Sheldon ive got about 10 of his books.

I've just come across an article about him - he's almost 80 and although his books have made him a multi-millionaire he has never been on TV, he's a bit of a recluse and prefers being called Dave to Dr anything. The Orchid Expert's just been published and he has another book coming out in 2009 which he can't reveal yet. What a guy!

I can feel another book buy coming on ;D I found another of his books in the loft - The Greenhouse Expert - like The witch, we don't have one at the moment but I obviously decided at some point we would have another one!

Another newish one he's got out is the Vegetable and Herb Expert, and the Pest and (I think) Weed Expert. The pest one looks great, not that I agree with rifling through the pages of books in B&Q I'm not going to buy though. :

Just remembered, the 'Expert Books' are all on offer in Waterstones (at least Solihull so I assume all branches) - buy two get one free and it is on until June time.
