I voted for that one! I think? Was that the sustainable one with all the wild flowers?

The Fetzer one got my vote too - I thought the garden was divine, I really admire their dedication to organic gardening despite producing a product that they sell around the world, and the wine is pretty yummy too!!! ;D

I've enjoyed the coverage, I love Alan, Carol, Joe, Rachel, Sarah and Chris...I liked the Q&A (altho there could have been a bit more) and my favourite part was the night they had 'Fernatix' on because I love ferns, and always visit their stall at every show I go to...rarely come away without having bought something! (never been to Chelsea mind)...
Last year the coverage was v 'Personality' led whereas this year it seems to have been much more about the plants, designs and the growers...I enjoyed it.

I thought it was pretty good too - lots of plants to look at, but I did get very cross with Joe Swift for repeatedly calling Centranthus ruber Red Valerian...it's NOT! And if the so called experts can't be bothered to get it right no wonder others get confused. I once had a nearly stand up row with a man at a plant sale who persistantly refused to believe it wasn't Valerian, even though I was selling pots of the REAL Valerian, he got really snotty with me and said I shouldn't be selling plants if I didn't know what I was talking about! I finally managed to convince him when I took out my trusty plant book and showed him - he had the grace to apologise and we parted friends! NB If you're selling plants to the public always take a reference book as they always think they know best (but rarely do....)

I enjoyed the evening coverage and found that the banter between Alan and Joe really worked. Carol as always was a Goddess! I found the daytime coverage AWFUL though, despite having the lovely Andy Sturgeon as a presenter. Who in their right mind decided that Lorraine Kelly was the best presenter for Chelsea? ? Whoever it was deserves to be strung up! For the first time we were able to view the digital stuff too which was excellent, if a bit repetitive because I couldn't find a listing of what was going to be shown when. I can understand your frustration with Joe getting the plant wrong - that sort of thing drives me nuts too, if I notice it. He is a designer rather than a plantsman though

That's true. Very poor show. Tut tut. You'll have to point this out repeatedly on the Beeb board and maybe someone will take note.......
