.........Pelargoniums are wrongly referred to as Geraniums, and Calabrese is referred to as broccoli?

Pelargoniums and Geraniums were classified in the past as being the same family, although Pelargoniums are tender and Geraniums are on the whole Hardy. Re-classification put this right but the Public is taking its time catching on.
The word "broccoli" means "little sprouts" in Italian and broccoli is in the same family (Brassicas) as Kale, Cauliflower, Brussel Sprouts and others. Green Sprouting Calabrese Broccoli is thought to have been introduced into English vegetable gardens by Italian immigrants around the 1880's.

Cant believe they did that! Obviously they are pandering to the public misconception, to make the search facility come up with what they are expecting, rather than keeping people properly informed.
