Well I live in the middle of a row of terraced houses. My only garden is to the front but at least it faces south east. Shade is provided by a disused listed x spinning mill building which is opposite me. It currently has a roost for bats which you can see in the evenings. The garden is very verysmall. I moved here about 6 years ago and at that time there was nothing in the garden but heavy heavy clay and weeds. I've dug out borders and a small veg patch. I must have used tons of soil improver and manure and compost over the past few years trying to makeit into a good usable space. The condition has improved greatly and I grow an abundance of plants flowers and shrubs.I love to grow from seed and make my own compost and have a little plastic mini greenhouse. I bought my first tree bare rooted not very long ago. I love colour and scent and like to have interest all year long. My passion would be sweetpeas I just could'nt imagine a garden without them but I love simple flowers which reflect the seasons too. I tend to cram too much into my small space but don't know when to stop and a lot of it is trial and error.I only started growing veg last year. My garden is my refuge from the world. I sit at my doorstep early morning every day of the year, hail rain or shine.I'm a poor sleeper and often sit and listen to the dawn chorus. On my thread I'll be posting pics regularly as I like to have a record of how things are progressing throughout the season. I ask many questions and have a lot to learn. I hope you get to like my little patch over the next few seasons and bear with me if I ask what may be sometimes daft questions.

I've replied on your garden thread LG!
You have a wonderful garden, and you have done so much in a short space of time. Gardening isn't instant that's part of the enjoyment watching it develop.

Thank you so much BM. I wonder if you're ever really finished with the garden. It seems that every year I try to grow something more.
