Here is a photo of some seedlings that seem to be popping up all over the place in my back garden. I have no idea what they are. prolly something really simple and common. (so they'll fit right in, in my garden )

That is a fence, the neighbours have a shed against their side, no hedge or anything near by, its coming up in the lawn in places too, and in the boarder on the other side. there was some sort of ornamental grass in that spot last year, I dig most of that out

Could it be wild bird seed that has germinated?

could be anything em you will have to wait a bit and see!! they look the same as my hellibore seedlings !! but I wont know for definate until the second leaf come, the only thing Im thinking is if they are in your lawn aswell! you havent got a sycemore tree near you !! they sprout all over.

Is that the tradescantia wandering jew M? I dont think they grow outside do they! or is there another one?

It looks like it could be, and I know that for sure wandering jews, in general, definitely grow outside, like weeds!
Do you have a more recent picture?

They haven't changed much from the last pic, Melanie, I've had a look on wikipidia and I don't think its what they're showing on there, time will tell, I've left some in to see what happens.
