Well I never - that is a relief - maybe she was too young - will you get her spayed or maybe let her have another litter

Aw does'nt nature appear cruel sometimes. It's natures way too that Mummy cat will be ok. I'm sure you will be giving her lots of support and treats to build herself up again.

That's sad Sleepy but wasn't to be. Nature seems cruel to us but she seems to know more than we do. Give Nibbles lots of love (as if I needed to say that), as you have said she is young herself. Perhaps the damage was done before she found Sweetleaf, but she has found herself a wonderful home now.

to you all, I bet you and Sweetie are more upset than Nibbles. I know you'll give her all the care she needs and see that she is properly looked after

Nibbles was speyed on Tuesday and is fully recovered from the anasthetic and back to her normal self, only slightly tender and bald on one side of her tummy, she isnt worried about the wound, either.

Glad Nibbles is ok, is she wearing a 'collar' to stop her getting at the stitches? Poppy did until she decided to remove it in the middle of the night - it landed on my face! She ignored the wound though so we left it off.

Nibbles will be fine now wont she no more problems once she recovers from her op Teddy didnt notice his stitches at all! I know it is more intrusive for a female nueture! I couldnt even fasten that silly coller so Im glad he left them alone.

My Afghan never bothered with her stitches - there wasnt any way at all she would have a collar - someone would have been killed

Here is Nibbles, I think she`s a real sweety-pie she followed me home obviously lost, and camped on m y doorstep till I gave in and took her inside for a feed, the owner proved impossible to trace, so she is my responsibility now, she is very cute, affectionate and very very beautiful. AWWWWWWW soooo cute I want her
