Lovely photos of spring flowers every one. What does March mean to me? During Feb, I look for the snowdrops and Hellebores. March is Daffs and Spring lambs, But to me its more like seeing the days lengthen, feeling the suns warmth again and watching the progression of spring. Now all I need is a photo of lambs hopping through daffs Spring lambs in the fields always remind me of my honeymoon. I got married on April 1st in North wales, and young Spring lambs were everywhere.

We had a bee the size of a sparrow in here yesterday, the kitten, knocked my tomato seedlings about trying to get it managed to shoo it out of the window in one piece in the end.

I saw a couple of different bees in the garden yesterday, love the sound of them buzzing around. I too am looking forward to having the clock move forward next weekend. Is anyone else waking up earlier than usual these days? My body is ready for the clock to move on as I'm waking up at least an hour earlier.

We had one of its relatives in our kitchen this morning - it was enormous and very grumpy. I caught it in a glass, showed the boys and put it out!

In the Spring they are wandering about looking for somewhere to start a nest.

Glad to see all these entries, its great! Just wanted to make an announcement. We have a small mystery prize for the winner of this months competition, kindly donated by one of our members! Don't forget to post any last minute photos, you've got till Friday at 9pm. Look out for the poll shortly after and cast your votes. The poll will be open for a few days to give you all plenty of time to vote. This time I'll open up a new thread for the poll, so we can continue to leave feedback on this thread, and congratulate the winner. Thats something we missed last month as I Had to lock the thread to show the results of the (anonymous) poll.

Those are lovely JW and that's a great stone tub you have them in. Do you plant something else in there for the summer?

Thank you for your kind words Maggy. I had them in the mini greenhouse over the winter and they never really lost their leaves. I brought them out a few weeks ago to sit on the windowledge. I'll try to get a pic of the pansy for you tomorrow.

All my Tulips are Horizontal! I dont think it is the wind that has blown the over--they just seem to have Long thin stems --I will get a photograph of them tomorrow to show you what I mean-- Everyone has shown some lovely displays of Spring Flowers so it will be hard to choose when voting---Bigs

No it's just a plastic one Maggy and we've had big freezes and snow this winter. I wrap it up in a bit of bubble wrap. Last year one survived all winter on the outside windowledge. I think they're hardier than we assume but they need to be kept almost dry overwinter.
