I dug up some tubers from Ecot and wondered if anyone has a suggestions for ways to serve them... I was going to roast them with carrots and potatoes and serve them with some really lovely veggie Glamorgan sausages and buttered nutmeg cabbage but if anyone has any better ideas........ If we like them (never tried them before) I want to grow a couple of rows in my veggie garden next year - I've been admiring them all summer - they look really grand..and they will make a handy divide between the new fruit beds and the vegetable beds

Well, if anyone's interested (which I doubt)....roasted Jeruslaem Artichokes are quite tasty, although not as nice as roasted carrots.......(and yes, they do make you...........)

Thanks for replying The witch! Actually they do have a nice flavour but you have to tune into it - it's not very strong, quite nutty I suppose. I liked them, and they are very pretty plants so I think I shall plant a few next year.
