The meal I had last night at the carvery wasnt too good
The beef was bootiful and the yorkies but the roasties were those "catering kind" - they seem to make them up like smash roll them into balls and then roast them
You cant fool me I know a roastie when I eat one
The pudding was OK ish I ordered Bakewell Tart and it came in a mound - I thought it would be square with a crusty top
2nite I am having left overs from Wednesday which was beef cooked in the slo cooker in ale

It was just me on my own for supper - the boys had eaten at their friends. I had a jacket potato, beans and cheese and for pudding I had a piece of Nigella's Rocky Road Crunch Bar!

It's quite nice not having to make too much fuss Myrtle which I can do when I'm on my own. Tonight the boys and I have got a sort of lasagne 'thing' but its made with pasta twirls not flat sheets of pasta.

Well, I won't be making that again - not one of their top 10 of favourite things to eat. I quite liked it but then I am quite easy to please on the food front.

Mind you, I did a lasagne some time age and it was lovely, must have used a different receipe the next time as it wasn't as nice, but still haven't worked out quite why, there can't be that much differrence! I have lamb tonight!
