Hope there's no tubey bits FB. Haven't even thought of supper tonight. Off for a picnic on the Ashdown Forest with some friends. Would not have been much fun in the rain but the skies are blue now and the sun is shining.

I par boil the spuds, abuse them, (I drain them and rattle them round in the pan) sprinkle on some semolina and put them in the oven, they had a bit of suet too The yorki was made with my new eggs, I've given 12 away, we've had 24 since sat! The neighbor to the left can have half a dozen tomorrow.

No ginger pop Jenny - sadly. We had egg sandwiches made with eggs from a friend's chickens, crisps, tomatoes, little baby scotch eggs and hot cross bun loaf and tea. I love a cup of tea on a picnic, it just finishes it off. Has anyone else found Walburtons hot cross bun loaf - it is yummy. Have only managed to buy it at the Co-op - not seen it anywhere else. Had tuna steak, Nigella's quick fries and salad for supper. Your roast sounds yum Emsey.
