As you may or may not know I am a bit of a curry fiend. I do love to make curries, and the more complicated the more I like making them ! BUT This arvo I was at the corner shop buying a loaf of bread, wondering what to cook for tea...when I spied a jar of Patak's cook in sauce 'Kashmiri curry'. I've always avoided these prepared bottled jobs...but I was in a funny mood so I bought it. Deeeee-licious. I am impressed Gosh. Nearly as good as one of mine.

I'll have to look out for that Cheery, thats the one I usually order from our local takeaway-I never cook curry from scratch! I know my limits.

I have used Patak's sauces and found them really good. I used to make curries from scratch, still do occasionally but the quality of the sauces is so good now, it does save time and I am getting lazy in my old age. ;D

Pataks Passanda sauce is heaven! They also do a good tandoori paste that you mix with a bit of natural yoghurt. it really is good.
