My wall fountain finally gave up the ghost. So, rather than throw it out, I decided to fill the trough with earth and plant it with ivy. What do you think?Pretty innit? I'm rather proud! ;D

Very nice!
I am a firm believer in re-cycling, we have an old boat full of soil with plants in it and an old cistern hanging on the fence with Ivy Pelargoniums trailing from it.

It looks great, Goth. I presume it has drainage?

Thanks all ;DVery nice! I am a firm believer in re-cycling, we have an old boat full of soil with plants in it and an old cistern hanging on the fence with Ivy Pelargoniums trailing from it. I'd love to see pics I also planted mint in our old kitchen sink. I dug up some roots of one mint and just stuck in some shoots of another. It's doing very well

It looks great, Goth. I presume it has drainage? Yep, I placed gravel on the bottom and drilled a hole in the base ;D

We've sank a sink at the lottie, and filled it with water to attract frogs.

We've sank a sink at the lottie, and filled it with water to attract frogs. Make sure you have a shallow area so that frogs and hedgehogs can climb out.
