They prolly think you're wonderful for providing such a wonderful nest material The witch! Have you thought about putting an old wool jumper cut to shape instead - plenty to choose from in charity shops and in a range of colours!

Bought a pack of Wool'n "Moss" for to fill a Forge Master Mangers Not a good idea I've now decided as the birds are pinching it for nesting material. ;D Having trouble finding a liner to fit the manger now. i33.photobucket.com/albums/d75/The witch-in-Norfolk/Bits%20and%20bobs/ForgeMasterManger.jpg [/IMG]
We've used the coir ones in ours and have the same problem with the birds. In fact I've noticed the one on the front has a hole in! Couldn't find a 'preformed' one to fit our large one this year (60cm) so yesterday bought it off the roll. 2m for £5 and I laid it around the shaped part and then cut the rest off leaving a good couple of inches. The rest was then put across the back and overlapped to the side. It is now full of compost but pegged to the basket and I will trim it when it has settled!

My mom alway uses an inside out compost bag (black lining) they're thick and don't tear, and once all the plants have poked through you cant see it and it holds the water better
