 Oh Lydia that is such a lovely story ;D I hope Barry comes back to visit and brings his new wife and babies to live in your garden I bet you were choked when he flew off even though that is what you have been striving for all this time! I hope the parrot doesnt pine for him though I bet he will miss him I know my S.I.L. s parrot still calls for Toby his little Chihuahua friend that died 3 years ago. It wont be long before you have some other little wounded soldier to take Barry,s place Im sure! keep up the good work.

A wonderful story C3D, thank you for sharing Barry's story with us. His friends were all waiting for him as well - a happy ending. You have done more than anyone could have done for him - a big thank you.  |

........ It wont be long before you have some other little wounded soldier to take Barry,s place Im sure! keep up the good work. ;D Barry left about 6:50 AM. I got to work at 9:30 and there were 5 baby bunnies waiting for me!  They are wild Cotton-tail bunnies and their eyes are not open yet. An hour later someone else brought in day old kittens! The Mom Cat was killed by a car. I don't think Mike will ever let me out of the house again at this rate! Have a Happy and Blessed Easter everyone!  Me and the refugees |

Awwwww! Thank you Jenny! He's so handsome! I'm sure Olive would quickly fall in lust, uhhh, love with that fellow! ;D
Baby bunnies and the two kittens are doing well. They are home. Bunnies in the kitchen in a carrier with heating pad and towels. Baby kittens are in our bedroom next to the bed with a heating pad and towels. They have a different feeding schedule and different milk formulation.
Wonder what Barry thought waking up in the wild this morning?
Time to feed the latest arrivals. ~SIGH~
We never had soooo many new arrivals in one day. Soooo we have baby bunnies, baby kittens, and the baby cockateils too. Maybe time to put out the NO VACANCY sign?!? ;D
