Wow how long did that take to make it lovley Are you going to have a go at making one gardenpest? If you do, let us know how you get on and if we can help in any way we will do, just ask! Oh, and don't forget a photograph when you have finished. You can do a stage by stage one for us and we could follow your instructions - why not give it a go (me I'm not that artistic!)

Gardenpest, I've had a look in my Sarah Raven Christmas book and my WI one for any advice for you. Sarah Raven uses a bought ring from a florists and WI do theirs as atable wreath!
Anyway, the hazel, willow or dogwood (or whatever you use to make the frame) would be best bent into shape shortly after it is cut as it will be more flexible then. If it dries out too much it will break when bent. And, I suppose it doesn't have to be circular, yu could try a teardrop shape or even diamond.
