Longtailed Tit

I know most people have probably seen these birds, but I saw my first one (or should I say ones, as there were a few of them) on my hols. Just wish I had remembered to get my camera out to document it. When I thought of it, we were well past the tree and I had another boat coming behind, so I couldn't slowly reverse backwards.
We were going past some canalside houses with nice back gardens, when I saw them in a nearby tree. It really made my holiday and I pointed them out to the others. Stephen then wanted me to find them in the bird book I always take with me. This I did when we stopped at the next lock. Well actually, I made him find it in the book!! ;D

Lovely little birds aren't they Keith, we had them visit our last garden and I really hope they will visit this one.
