Inspired by C3D's work as displayed on this site and GWD, I've been trying to take some bird pictures of my own this year. Haven't got many thus far but here are some of the better ones. Hopefully more will follow in due course (when I get the time to take the camera out !!!). FA x Female blackbird   Black headed gulls   Gulls in flight  Male peacocks - different birds   |

Thank you Chicka. You're my inspiration on this. Seeing your pictures on GWD made me want to have some of my own. Unfortunately, I don't really have the camera equipment for really decent shots. I don't have a tripod so when I try to use high zoom, I tend to end up with blurry blobs ! Occasionally, just occasionally, they turn out ok !
Now I've started the thread, I'll try and take some more good ones.

I think they're really good FA, especially if you're taking them with a hand held camera. You must be steady as a rock! I could never get a pic as good as those as I get a wobble on even when I'm leaning on something  The second Blackbird one looks as if she's a pico second away from taking flight - amazing! |

Thank you Emsey & 4P To be honest, they only come out this nice every so often and it's more by luck than judgement most of the time. I need a better camera but Mrs FA only let me buy my current one last year so I'd better not say too much about a new one just yet........  FA x |
