Here are the baby swallows at work. One of them left the nest today and stood stretching his little wings for the first time. They are soooo lovely. I couldn't get a closer shot without standing on the table, risking life and limb (and table) and maybe frightening the parents to death...

It's nice now I've moved and am not being bombarded with unsavoury materials and grubs! We have a perfect view of them. Lovely little things they are, although it was a bit of a worry when the little one started moving about - I don't want a kamikaze baby bird......... there are 4 altogether in that tiny nest....

Maybe I could get it better..... I did zoom in a bit but it lost so much resolution that I changed it back.

Maybe I could get it better..... I did zoom in a bit but it lost so much resolution that I changed it back. I know what you mean - when we first got our digital camera OH set it up so that photo's could be used in emails without editing them first. But I quickly realised, just as you have that clarity was lost when zooming in. The camera is now set up for the best possible image - max. pixels. Which means I can zoom in and in and in and in and in, - well I might be exaggerating there slightly. But it does mean I have to edit more often if I want to email the image. :
