Standing in the garden repotting plants and heard my first cuckoo of the year! It was very loud and very insistent too. Lovely.....

Once the cuckoos start, they don't stop for several weeks - I like to hear them.
PLUS I got some sunburn on the bit of bare skin on my neck without realising it. I thought it was cold ....how dosy can you get?
