It only happened the once - the rest managed to fly around the open window and not go through it.

Saw the first bat of the year flying round our garden last night. Sleepy, have you got your Bat detector gadget out yet?

I always remember one mid summer evening when I was around at my friends house and her brother (who was a health freak) was skipping in the backgarden and he was doing those doubles skips, you could hear the skipping rope whipping around, we looked above him and he had a little cluster of bats flying around his head , it was quite funny.

I'm delighted to find this thread. Last year I can't remember what season but I was sure I saw some bats flying around outside the disused spinning mill building opposite where I live. These past few evenings I've been sitting outside at twilight/dusk and have noticed at least 2 and maybe 3 bats flying around it.They must be out of hybernation. I'm really delighted to see them. They have a very specific way of flying dont' they. They are'nt near enough to see what type they are and they move so quickly. Anyone else seen any yet?

We saw one in my Dads garden, which is about half a mile from here, about 11 years ago and thats it

No they has definately been probs we cant All have changed settings!! the Logo was missing as well as some of the Avatars they were NO smileys and my D.I.L. couldnt get on at all !! About Bats I see them regulaly in the summer months they fly aroud our garden and the small park behind us there is an old stone barn at the farm just half a mile from us and I think they must live in there, I hope I see some soon as I think they only come as the night get warmer! well thats the only tie I notice them.

Glad it was'nt just me having problems with the board Maggie. It's been too windy and cold for me to hover around twilight these past couple of evenings to see the bats. They're protected by law did you know as are there roosts.
