I'm not a trekki, so thats (like many, many other things) has gone over my head, if you'd have said chewbaccer (?) or ewok I would have known what you meant. Anyway don't pick on poor Mr burnes, she's lovely, and a rare puruvian blue you know!

Do you have to brush her all the time Emsey? She looks like she could get all tangled up in no time.

So far I've just stroked her hair tidy, someone at the petshop had trimed bottom. I will get a brush for her, as I think she'd enjoy being groomed. They are quite happy (or scared stiff ) to sit quietly on your lap. I've been putting them on an old towel but there have been no accidents yet. I'm told you can litter train them, but i'd better do Louis first! They can also eat lots of lovely things from the lottie, but Debi told me lettuce can be bad for rabbits and guineas, has anyone else heard this?

I like the little black and white one - sweet. I have to admit I'm not too keen on the fluffy one - she looks like trouble to me! (sorry Emsey...) I DO like the noises GP's make though. My friend, Tim, used to have them roaming about his garden. There were loads of them. Very disconcerting when you're sitting there and a bush chirps at you.......

I'd be too worried to let mine roam, as lovely as it sounds. My last pair I left in the run one summers day and went to work, when I came home something had dug a hole under the side of the run and earwig and parsnip were gone. A fox or next doors dog.

Oh no! That must have been horrid. My friend lives in the middle of nowhere though and he let his GP's just get on with it. They bred like nobody's business but quite a few disappeared in winter.......I don't know whether that's fair or not. They lived a very natural life but quite a short one....... When I had rabbits as pets I had to make their runs like Colditz as creatures were always burrowing into them. In the end they all escaped....I still see the brown one occasionally. I like to think it's her anyway!

I think a happy life is better than a long one cooped up. I've got a large run for my two and I'm at home alot so they'll be ok in there now. its not foxs or rats i'm worried about, its slugs blugh.

They do The witch, the piggies are ideal pets too, easy to look after and they don't bite and are nice to handle. I'd love chickens too. Its not fair OH wont let me either. My brother in law had some and they lived in the tardis in his garden, if he can have them, why cant I? We are aloud to keep them at the lottie, but imagine what the locals would do to them.
