Oh, I'm green with envy!!! On our honeymoon in Morocco, I had a photo taken with a snake around my neck, by a snake charmer. It was only a small carpet python, if I remember correctly, but I had asked for the cobra! No way, came my reply. Keith

Wow, they're stunning aren't they? I love snakes - they are gorgeous things. I held a huge one once when very young when a snake zoo visited my school. No one else would volunteer. I can't have been more than 4/5 and I've never forgotten it - it was so warm and smooth.

My son kept a pet snake for a time, here, before he got his own place, one of my friends wouldnt come in while it was here, even when I assured him it couldnt get out, hes a forty year old man and scared witless at the thought of snakes never mind an actual one! It was a python of some kind, I did hate watching it feed though.

Jennifer and I lived on a residential caravan site when we first met and there was a guy there who had a giant python and 6 baby ones. He got complaints from some residence and he had to reduce them down to one. Felt sorry for him. His CB handle was snake related, but unless you went to his caravan, you would not know he had snakes at all! Keith
