Awh what a lovely photo - I can tell he is The Boss - bet he plays you up something awful after his op
He looks fine to me - bet you are relieved
Afghans all keep their dew claws - they are used for when they race as they help them to "brake" when cornering - I do trim them tho now and again as they can grow "under"

I can see that the Afghan would use them and they probably get worn down natrually but with a chihuahua they are just another problem. Have you seen the dremil cutters I think they are pedipaws or something they have different size holes you put the nails in and they trim quickly with a dremil blade that goes inside so its safe the only thing is the noise some dogs are afraid of anything noisy! jenny xxx

I am being serious-- When I get my nails manicured at the Hairdressers they use dremil cutters on my nails. They cut them so neatly and all the same length aswell. Jenny--I bet your Afghan is a beautiful sight when running full pelt and then 'cornering'. Maggy- I hope Teddy has fully recovered now and will soon be racing around too--

As soon as I open the front door when I get home from work she flies at me prancing around and make loud squealing noises - I havent time to take my coat off I have to get her tea and put it down for her Then she wants to go in the garden IMMEDIATELY and whines until I do that Still got coat on Then she wants to come in (as she has been "a good girl" <wink>) so gets a biscuit Then I wait to see what other command she will give me Then I go upstairs to sort out my Yorkie Still got coat on
