Still on the subject of cats, mine have brought a new wierdness to their already wierd world. For the last couple of months they have been trying to squeeze into every nook and cranny, no matter how small, that they can find. Whatever comes crashing down in their attempts to squeeze into wherever it is, huh they don't care as long as they achieve it. The other day I couldn't close one of my kitchen drawers because there was a large cat i.e. Snowy blocking the proceedings who had found his way right to beyond the back of it. Dodgy tried to get comfy in the tiniest of paper bags the other day, it is complete madness. Anyone know what this behaviour is all about? They have been ogling the stereo system for all this time as there are some prime hidey holes to be found behind it and the shelves above, but only to be achieved at the expense of some expensive stuff....Grrrrr!I know cats do do this but this is a real change of behaviour, as if they are trying to 'nest'.And if I hadn't known it was impossible I would have said that Dodgy was trying to find a place to have her kittens, it was that strange.

I would suspect they had brought a mouse in and mislaid it if they were my cats, ........they dont know they cant have babies though, and may be having "ghost" pregnancies, in which case your nesting theory will be correct.

Thanks sweetleaf, but any mice are usually left for me to tread on as some kind of prize......hopefully it'll be over soon. Thanks again! Debbie
