I dislike Cats, ok I've said it. Funnily enough we do have one however. This morning I removed Daughters duvet cover for washing, folded her duvet on her bed, opened the windows as was a fine sunny day and shut her door so Cat couldn't sleep on said duvet and deposit hairs. So ten mins later, i go back in Daughters room, door is stull shut, I notice a dent in the duvet with an obvious pattern of "CAT". No Cat but there is a huge pile of shite. So, luckily Daughter is at Dads this weekend, means I have to go out and buy new duvet today and take existing one to dry cleaners during the week, will then be a spare. Presumably the cat got in through the darn window. Anyone for a Cat? she is very pretty, goes by the name of Fudge or Fudger. Mums was a white persian Dad was a ginger tom. I'm hoping she will get lost very soon.

Hia Trunkyjo - I hope you don't mind me moving this because although it is General Banter, we have got a pets section. I couldn't help laughing at your post but sympathise with the situation - my cat isn't allowed upstairs but we are lucky enough to have a door at the bottom of the stairs so can easily keep her out. And if she does get upstairs I shout, and if that doesn't work I poke her out from under whichever bed with a closed umbrella! I don't know what "nutse" means but have manged to work it out! ;D And your story has reminded me of the time my first cat caught a bird and decided to deposit it in my sister's bed, under the duvet. She/we didn't discover it until she went to bed!!! EEEK!!! I can't help wondering why you have a cat if you don't like them though

I have 3 cats, and one is the designated bed cat, he jumps up and wakes me in the morning and makes sure no-one is late. I can sleep through an alarm but not him tugging my ears! Im sure he thinks Im another cat, albeit strangely shaped

Np on the move P . However, not sure about NUTSE, I wrote something else so I guess Sleepy must of changed it to keep it family friendly . Unfortunately we have the Cat as a family member bought it for my Son for his 3rd birthday : I am allergic to her which doesn't help.

Fuchsia used to be a banned word on the beeb - something to do with the sound of the beginning of the word I suppose but rather far-fetched. They changed the filter in the end so fuchsia could be used.

Nope. But there is a default censored word list where certain words get replaced automatically.

Don't like cats!!! Oo, I love them. And dogs, pygmy goats, chickens, kune kune pigs (not allowed), big rabbits (ditto) and I'd LOVE a donkey.... My cats are lovely but they are getting old and a bit grumpy and are always screeching for food. My OH only tolerates them. My ginger Pumpkin is my purry cat. She is never far away from me and loves to sleep by me in bed at night......shame, as I am a bit allergic. Rather have the allergy than no purry puddy though. She has a purr like a machine gun.

We have a young cat called Priya (pronounced Pree-yah) named after a sweet but ditsy work colleague (she was thrilled btw). Priya is our 3rd rescue cat. Our first was Freddy...a beautiful black & white huge fluffy thing...and Mabel was a tabby we had from 8 weeks old (aw) . When Mabel died (aged 19) we weren't going to get any more pets...but I was soooooo bereft OH agreed to get one ;D
We've only ever had one dog. Black mongrel female called Kipper (BEFORE the books) so named as she was always kipping! When I was v ill a few years ago she was a tremendous comfort, spent ages sitting next to me and followed me about all the time making sure I was OK..... When she died we fell to bits and have decided that we couldn't go through that again.
Priya is quiet (like TP's cats she says 'meep' not 'meow') shy and a terror to all the small furry and feathered creatures in the neighbourhood...thinking of getting her a 'catalert' collar to give the local birds a fighting chance!
I tried to write 'black 'b**ch' (female dog) and the word 'B*t*h' was replaced with 'pregnant'!!!...tee hee...

Kune kunes are gorgeous!! We saw some at the Malvern Autumn show - if I had enough room I'd have a couple. There's a British Kune Kune society BTW: www.britishkunekunepigsociety.co.uk/

If you really really want the word to show, you need to change one of the letters - for example "sh!te" or "cr@p"
