Has anyone got a good recipe for Leek And Potato Soup, i love it and ive got some leeks on my new plot.

I think I'd start off as basic as possible, Karen. Some pepper and maybe some herbs. I should imagine your own leeks and some spuds wouldn't need too much tweaking anyway flavourwise, I wouldn't want to add loads of things that aren't necessary but you always have that option. Some veggie stews I make taste great when I've only added maybe a stock cube and some pepper, when I've got in mind all sorts of things to add to improve the flavour - they're just not needed.

A packet mix of leek or chicken soup also helps to add flavour

I use lots of leeks and a jacket sized potato cooked in some home-made chicken stock if possible (or a stock cube if not),then zuzz it and add some cream :)YUM!

I use Delia's recipe CLICK HERE I do tend to add more leeks though!
